ABB Textured Polar Bear Christmas Card

Hello!! I'm here to share a Christmas card I've made with this totally adorable Art By Barb digital Stamp. When I bought this adorable image. He was part of one of her many amazing digital stamp sets. His name is Polar Bear and I love how fluffy he looks!!

I've used some homemade texture paste to give his fur a 3D look. I just added a thick layer of paste and used a kebab stick to flick through the paste to create the fur. To add more depth I used a small amount of watered down black Distress Ink to add to the fur in places. I embossed some coloured card and layered up metallic silver Acrylic painted die cut snowflakes. I layered up a few snowflakes to create a snowflake flower. All dies used on this card are from M&C die cut that I got from The Works. To finish of I computer generated the sentiment.

I'll be posting this card in the Art By Barb Facebook Group. This is where anyone is welcome to share any Art By Barb creations. Please feel free to stop by the group. We'd love it if you'd stop by the group.

Hello friends! I'm here to share a Christmas Card I've made using a super cute Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamp named Christmas Wreath Kitty. Isn't it totally adorable!! It comes with two Christmas sentiments. One of which I've used on this card.

I coloured the Christmas Wreath Kitty image using Coloured Ball Point Biro Pens. I've scored some lines in this paper using my score board and lightly ran a Vintage Photo Distress Ink Pad along the paper to give a wooden panel wall look to the background. I then added some Craftin Desert Diva Comet Sequins.

I've used the Craftin Desert Diva's November Facebook Mood Board Challenge Photo as my inspiration for this card. I've used the colours and wood I can see on the Mood Board as my inspiration.

CDD Bats Birthday Card

Hello. I hope everyone had a lovely Halloween! I'm here to share my first card of the month using a Halloween image in a different way. So I took two Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamp set called Happy Haunting (the bats) and Space Cadets (the moon, stars and sentiment) I used both sets to create this scene for a birthday card.

I used Touch Five Markers and Pencils to colour the bats, Distress Inks to colour the background and gel pen's to colour the stars and to add little white stars.

I created the background using a marble rolling technique. The other day my three year old son wanted to create a spiders web picture. That's when I got the rolling marbles on paper with black paint idea. After he tried it with lots of different colours. He had so much fun. So I decided to create one myself for this cards background.

CDD Twins Magic & Sunshine Interactive Cards

Hello. I'm happy to be sharing two sweet interactive girls birthday cards I've made for my daughter twin friends. As they are twins I did them cards that are the same, but different (in their favourite colours.) I've used this beautiful Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamp called Magic & Sunshine.

The scene in the background (grass, trees, clouds and flower) are a mix of two Craftin Desert Diva's Die Cut Set called Outdoor Landscape 2 Die Set and Garden Boarder Die Set. I stuck the bottom of the scene down tightly with glue using a plastic card to push them as close and as tightly to the base as possible. I did this so as the fairies swing they won't get caught on them. I created the swinging motion by getting acetate then putting a hole punch at the top and putting a split pin through it making sure it has enough room to allow it to swing. I secured the split pin to the base of the card. I stuck the fairy at the bottom of the acetate. Then I stuck the cloud's on foam tape. To enable enough space to allow the fairies to move. The sentiment I used are also Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamps from Magic & Sunshine and Fairy Wishes. (Some links above include my Affiliate link on them)
